Fundraising Goal

We ultimately aim to buy a large PA system that can reach 100 - 1,000 people.​

Advised by experts who have made their careers recording and amplifying local artists in Music City, we aim to buy the best equipment available that is also practical for non-audio experts.

The PA system will ideally include the following:
  • at least 2 PA speakers (Max DB above 120, at least 1,400 Watts, weight under 50lbs each - this aims to reach 400-600 people at minimum in an outside city environment)
  • 1-2 Microphones & Cords
  • Stands for Microphone/s & Speakers (if applicable)
  • Mixer (if applicable)
  • Additional Battery (if applicable)
  • ​​Warranty
  • Protective Gear​

PA System Options

While all PA systems are a bit different, we have three PA options in mind based on different budgets. Of the three PA options, we will buy one (or similar) and choose our selection based on how much money we are able to raise.

Let's shoot for the stars! But we will also tailor what we buy based on how much we are actually able to raise. Check out our projected budget below.

​Once we have the money to buy a system, we will share the final and actual costs (including receipts) on this website and on the GoFundMe page.
Any additional money left over from the fundraiser will be used in the following ways:
  • ​To buy additional equipment if needed
  • Donated to local progressive non-profits

In the event that we are not able to raise enough funds for the ideal options listed above, we will purchase the best of what we can instead, even if that includes 1 speaker instead of 2.
